The Safari Harvest Event in Grow a Garden (v1.30.0) is a limited-time community event where players collect and submit specific plants requested by the NPC Safari Joyce at the event hub. To participate in the Fall Event, grow and harvest plants matching the hourly type requested by the Harvest Spirit NPC, submit them to fill the community gauge and trigger Fall Blooms for rewards and shop restocks, while following rules like rarity-based points and the 5-minute post-Bloom cooldown.

The Beanstalk Event is a collaborative, server-wide event where the goal is to grow a giant beanstalk. To participate, players must contribute specific types of plants to the event's NPC, Jack, located in the center of the main island. The required plant type changes every hour. The primary rule is to collectively reach 900 contribution points to make the beanstalk fully grow. Once the beanstalk is grown, it will stay for 20 minutes, allowing players to climb it, collect rewards from glowing orbs, and access a special shop at the top. The player who contributes the most points when the beanstalk is fully grown receives a special reward.

Prickly Plants are defensive varieties equipped with natural protection mechanisms like thorns, spines, and prickles. These prickly plants include cacti, thorny bushes, and defensive flora that have evolved to protect themselves. Prickly plants offer substantial point values for the Beanstalk Event while adding unique structural elements to your garden.

Prickly plants can be found in various seed packs and shops, with desert varieties appearing in summer or tropical packs. Common prickly plants like basic cacti are available in the Seed Shop, while rare defensive varieties require special packs or event participation. Some prickly plants are seasonal or biome-specific, so check merchant inventories during different seasons and events.

Top prickly plants include Princess Thorn and Venus Fly Trap (6 points each), plus Cactus and Dragon Fruit (5 points each). Other notable prickly plants are Pineapple (4 points), Rose (3 points), and Thistle (2 points).
